They’re constantly told we have to cover the uninsured. But those who HAVE insurance discovered the Democrat plan will have profound effects on THEM. They wonder-—if we’re going to spend all that money-—why not just calculate the cost to cover the uninsured, tell Americans what it will cost, and then debate that?

Because most Americans would be willing to talk about "the cost to cover the uninsured" - BECAUSE we're paying for the poor to see doctors now. At emergency rooms - the most expensive medical care there is - a visit can run $600 to $800. The same visit to a doctors office would cost $60. And trust me, those of us with insurance are paying the %600 for the kid who has a stuffy nose.

I'd be willing to talk about that. So if for a second I felt dems were people of good will - which they're not - it would be an interesting debate.

The reason dems don't "slow it down" as you suggest and include our input is the excuse of "care for the poor" is a horse to ride. What they want is more central control.

Those who hand out "life and death" favors to the public have citizens by the proverbial short hairs. And those handing out the favors would be dems. They would have the "pull with the health care system"...

If we speak up against Dems - if we're not in the right party - if we don't have the right connections - our mother doesn't' get the operation - and dies. Same with our loved children.

If you look at the corruption in the dem party you will see that this power is NOT something we trust them with. So your comments are innocent. There is more going on here than meets the eye...

I think you meant naive.

But the point is YOU are already convinced (like me). YOU oppose the plan. Our objective must be to reach those who are NOT convinced or involved. If we can plant doubts in their minds, we'll win. I'm simply talking about the best way to do that. We've got their attention right now. Ask yourself: is our MESSAGE getting through or are they just seeing how "angry" we are? The answer matters.

That is a very good explanation.

If they really cared for the poor, they would have done something for them years and uyears ago. Simply giving each one of them a do nothing job would be cheaper than the TRILLIONS$$$ they've thrown at the problem since the days of LBJ.

You're so right on your analogy. It is a horse they ride. And the driveby media is trotting right alongside like Sancho Panza on his little burro!

IMHO the "health care" issue is not at all what it is about - IT IS THE RATS/ELITES BLOOD THIRSTY DESIRE TO CONTROL EVEN AMERNICAN MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD. Nothing gives them the ability to do that more than control of all HEALTH CARE from cradle to grave.
