Even after the safety warnings all over them not to do so?

“It will never happen to me” goes in all directions on this one only the kids heartbreakingly had no choice.

Proceed at your own peril rules apply every time you walk out the door. It is just the liberal mindset that the government is there to protect us from everything that always get people into trouble.

Granted, it breaks my heart that four young lives were needlessly lost because of the stupid actions of the best in our society/sarc but the police are in a no win situation whichever way they act.

So those of you who blame only the police can just take a powder as far as I’m concerned.

Better yet, just call them up right now and put your residence and/or business on the do not respond list just in the event you happen to need them one day and stupidly make the 911 call in shear desperation.

You know, kind of like a living will.

Hmmm. When I left the States, seatbelts had just become mandatory in my home state. I don’t recall there every having been a lot of discussion about people riding around in the back of a pickup. I come from a redneck place. We looked on riding in the back as a normal thing- not death defying or anything.

What about you? Are you ok with a cop opening fire on a crowded sidewalk when the likelihood of him hitting an innocent is pretty high?

It’s just a question. Nothing to be afraid of here.

Not blaming only the police. Both the perps AND the police were responsible for this. The immediate custody of a criminal is not worth innocent lives, except in very extreme circumstances, and a car chase meets none of these circumstances.
I know that criminals need to be apprehended as soon as possible, but disregard for lives and property isn’t the answer.
Putting your residence or buisness on a don’t respond because you don’t like what the cops did in this instance?
How about putting them on notice that if you are being robbed, it’s ok to just call in an airstrike on your home or buisness?
