There is a reason that both sexes find a cat fight harmless and amusing and non threatening but find many male fights dangerous, violent and sometimes deadly.
Watch people when men fight, there is a lot of tension because no one knows what levels it may reach or if it will spill over to include other men. They also know that even if the fight ends with out terrible loss that it may only be a beginning and that the final act is not yet played.
