There is nothing Democratic about this party. They are the Democrat Party.

The only Illinois meetings I see on this list are in very Democrat neighborhoods, so I guess they want to avoid having a real discussion in districts like Melissa Bean. What a collection of Profiles in Courage.

not ONE in the state of NEW YORK! Even my republican rep is holding a “tele-townhall” during the work day.

You betcha! I’ve already emailed him and told him the working stiffs can’t listen to a conference call during the work day!

ZERO Democrat Party town hall meetings in Ohio.

Zero.

None.

We need to keep the Republican's feet to the fire as well. They need to understand in their bones what happens if they stray...

And yes, we have a much greater problem with RINO's than the Dim's do with their Blue Mutts.

Why are there no Republican town hall meetings?
I would imagine the difference in public participation would be dramatic, people would be allowed to talk, Republican Reps and Senators would explain exactly why they are opposed to the plan.

I called Congressman John Sprat's(D-SC) office a few days ago and politely asked when and where the Congressman would hold a town Hall meeting....I was informed that the Congressman wouldn't be holding any due to his having foot surgery and would be convalescing for two weeks

Convenient huh...

I’mma thinkin the ol demo's are gonna start shuttin down the town hall thing.

I'm furious at the elitist mentality of our elected officials.

These are servants of the people....not royalty.

In fact, that's what I wrote my congress persons this morning.

Ultra Lib and Super Moron Jim Moran (D-VA) is having one in Reston, VA (big lib town) on Aug 25th, 7PM.

Worth a visit by Freepers but be aware that ACORN and the SEIU will have its goons out there in force.

Bring cameras.

What we need is to have town halls discussing succession, or ceding from the Union. Possibly, revolution. If elections can’t be fairly staged, without Black Panther goons intimidating public polling stations, then it’s all for naught anyway, and we ought to form a newer, more perfect Union. Open discussion of revolution and armed militias might get the attention of the rinos, and serve to stiffen their spines a bit.

Down with Democrats!!

Another collection of good lists of public meetings HERE.

Scroll down and pay particular attention to the graph created by "Savvy." It's EXCELLENT, and she's continuing to update it daily as more data is collected.

Blue Lap Dog Democrat, Bart Gordon, of Tennessee will not commit to any assemblies and his spokesperson refuses to say if he will meet with his constituents.

Just got back from a town hall meeting in Cherry Hill, NJ held by rep. John Adler (D).

Adler stated a few times that he is opposed to the health care bill.

There were a few disruptions and the audience was quick to let him know whenever they disagreed with anything he said. One such instance was when he criticized the U.S. health care system as falling behind systems in other countries. He quickly restated that the U.S. has the best health care system in the world.

The audience was a mix bag, but those opposed to health care reform seemed to far out number those in favor.

A lot of people lined up to ask questions and Adler took time to give direct and complete answers. Only 1 hour was allotted for the meeting so several people did not get to ask a question- my wife included.

Adler stayed later than the appointed time and talked face to face to many people as he slowly made his way to the exit.

The only ones I see in Illinois look like where one-party rule exists. There probably are not enough voters there that are not Democrat zombies to fill out a golf tee time.
