Swatting at bees is like fighting individual battles against the encroachment of communism.
Pouring gas on the hive is like changing the rules of government back to the way the framers intended. We should have representatives who represent us.
Of course I wouldn't suggest to stop swatting at the bees as you look for your gas can. As long as we are going to let the bee hive exist (tyrannical non-representative government) we will continue to wear ourselves out swatting bees.
Do you now understand that I am not suggesting quitting? Do you understand I am advocating a change in the structure of our government so that it more represents the founder's intent? That is not the same as just crapping on what everyone else is doing as you suggested.
When you say the post was useless what do you mean? Was it all information you had heard before? The idea of shrinking districts is actually new to me. I think it is a good idea and should be kicked around in the political discussions on this board more than it is.

That's not going to happen in my lifetime or yours. Right now we need to stop the bleeding and to stop the destruction of our liberties and that is why we need to keep the pressure on at Town Hall meetings and Tea Parties.
You want to cure the patient's cancer while the patient is bleeding to death. Well, unless you stop the bleeding you will never have the opportunity to cure the cancer.
Your rant about the structure of government has nothing to do with the current Tea Party movement.
