Is ObamaCare a form of Geriatric Genocide?

Yes, I know...I'm engaging in a bit of hyperbole with the above title, but not all that much if you stop to take a look at a few of the plans for health care...I mean, health insurance reform floating around the Congress; especially HR 3200, which was the 1,000-plus page monstrosity belched up by Henry Waxman's Energy and Commerce Committee just before the House broke for recess. Boy, I bet those Lap...I mean Blue Dogs on that committee wish they'd taken the blue pill right about now, whaddaya think?

Anyhoo...I've been doing a little research on what ObamaCare promises to do for Medicare if a version similar to what Waxman and Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama wants is passed out of the Congress for our president's signature. All I can say is, it's not pretty. People should keep in mind, in fact, that much of the funding for health care reform is going to be taken out of hide from Medicare, to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars.

…Now, back to how ObamaCare promises to be like the Swine Flu on steroids for our seniors. First off, we're short of primary care doctors and it takes a loooong time to grow those particular medical professionals. As a matter of fact, the American College of Internists estimates we're going to be short PriCare docs to the tune of around 45,000 or so by 2025. And guess what? Doctors today are increasingly unwilling to take on new Medicare patients, citing the government's chronically low reimbursement rates. No less a conservative stalwart newspaper than the New York Times admits to what anybody who's ever worked in medicine already knows: That the government's a cheapskate and that that doesn't promise to get any better under the new ObamaCare initiative.

I have long stated that Daschle-Obama-Hillary! (DOH!) health kare was The solution to the Social Security and Medicare funding problem. Few baby boomers will survive DOH! for long.

An Internet search revealed that I was not alone with that opinion.

So, yes it's Geriatric Genocide in the form of shifting to palliative care only to treat many seniors.

That health care plan they’ve cooked up is damn scary. I’ve read the whole 1,018 pages (Waxman added about 155 more pages to it) and there’s some stuff in there that’d turn granny’s hair whiter than it already is.

I haven’t read it yet myself, and I can bet for darn sure that NONE of my congress critters have bothered to part the dust on the cover sheet.
But if what I saw in the non-stimulus stimulus was any indication, I don’t want to know because it’ll kill me through moon shot high blood pressure and forehead vein bursts.
(300 million for pimped out golf carts so our pimple butted congress critters don’t have to walk in D.C... while berating us all for being “obese” supposedly.)

The plan to fund 1/3 of this obamination by $400 Billion cuts in Medicare - when the population on Medicare is rapidly increasing - tells one all one needs to know about what inevitably has to take place,... rationing and shortages, especially for those over 65.

"DeathCare" is not just a slogan for this program. It's a reality. However, it is a quick fix for the Social Security fiscal shortfall!

So, say an early good-bye to Grandma and Grandpa. If they're lucky, they'll get some palliative pain medication - unless like in Great Britain's NHS where they have run out of money for this sort of unnecessary luxury, they just let the old folks die in agony until the "Useless Eaters" expire and free another few beds for those more favored by The Committee.

What about an 60+ senator, professor, lawyer, etc. I doubt they would receive the same care as they intend for the mainstream 60+

Some *cough* enterprising jerk sent Dodd a communication the day his cancer was announced and asked him if he was going to lead by example and use Obamacare or if he was going to us his taxpayer guaranteed healthcare.
Oddly, Dodd has been quiet on the subject.

Zero himself said the savings would be as you say - mostly from Medicare but also from Medicaid.

People forget that Totalitarians are really hate-filled people.

And I believe Zero truly hates Senior Citizens - ergo - that is why so many “white hairs” are showing up at the Town Hall meetings.

I am so proud of them finally waking up and seeing the truth...(even though it’s taken this draconian measure to do it).

Am not far from the gray haired era myself.....and I have no illusions about what Zero and Mengele intend for the elderly and the poor and the handicapped in this country.
