I can’t begin to tell you what a political mistake this is.

Obama and Emmanuel are using tactics appropriate to Cuba and Venezuela.

This is a tactical mistake. They believe that intimidation will stop the protests and energize their base.

By not understanding that their voters were comprised of people who simply had enough of Bush, and not a mandate for Obama, they have now allienated people completely.

They are using the same tactics they used to use in Chicago.

Thing is...Chicago is something like 85% liberal. They are dealing with a different constituency nationwide. More like 50-50.

I hope they keep going with this. And they will because they know no other way.

The last 250 years have been marked by the demise of those foolish or brazen enough to misjudge the file line that separates outraging the average American and enraging them. When enraged the gates of hell have not stood against them.

“I can’t begin to tell you what a political mistake this is.”

It’s only a political mistake if we do nothing. If we let the Obama Administration get away with this thuggery, we’ve lost - lost America, for that matter. We’ll become another Venezuela. Freedom of speech is inconvenient for the Democrats in the Administration and Congress, who insist on having their own way.
