Pennsylvania Gym Shooter Bought Gun Accessories From Virginia Tech Killer's Dealer
Fox ^ | August 7, 2009

The gunman who killed three women in an aerobics class at a Pittsburgh-area gym bought accessories for his weapons from the same dealer that sold a gun to the Virginia Tech shooter.

George Sodini, 48, purchased the items from TGSCOM Inc. of Green Bay, Wis., before committing the Aug. 4 massacre that left three women dead and nine wounded. He then killed himself.

It wasn't immediately clear what accessories Sodini bought.

Seung-Hui Cho purchased a .22-caliber handgun from TGSCOM in February 2007, two months before he killed 32 people at Virginia Tech.

Police investigating Tuesday's shootings at the L.A. Fitness center in Collier Township, Pa., say Sodini obtained his weapons legally.

What makes the Green Bay, Wis. gun dealer so special that a psycho killer in Virginia sought him out and a loser in Pennsylvania sought him out? Is this place in Wisconsin offering such good sales that all frugal gun owners should seek him out?

Also, does anyone other than me notice that almost every single mass shooter have a history of seeing psychologists and being administered psychotropic drugs? Could it be that the psychotropic drug that takes away some emotional pain also dulls the part of the brain that controls impulses? It’s a thought worth pursuing.

In the meantime, nobody will tell us how many weapons purchased from this same store were used to successfully thwart crimes....

The psychotropic drugs are to make the people “somewhat” normal. They are already criminally insane. Since they could not be held accountable for their own actions (mental problems) they should be under the constant observation of a legal guardian.

The sham is that these crazies are permitted to walk among the civilized. We are told the are “functional” but actually they just pass as normal. They malfunction from time to time and if they’d survive their assaults, they would be shielded from full prosecution of their crimes.

Put them under virtual house arrest and let their relatives watch them. Or institutionalize them.

But the gun grabbers would rather say NO ONE can have a gun. That is a much more serious infraction on personal liberties than house arrest for people with mental problems.

Probably for the sake of more notoriety.

If any Freeper lives near there, is there a chance to find out if the facility was another “gun free zone”?

You’re point is that the psychotropic drugs aren’t triggering psychotic episode the way I suggested, you’re saying instead that these folks should be institutionalized? I agree. That may actually be the answer because the VT shooter’s psychologist tried to hide the guy’s treatment records at his residence and was recently discovered.

http://www.tgscom.com/Content.aspx?ckey=RetailPartners

TGSCOM is pretty big, with maybe 40 or so “partners” and websites. I bet pretty much every Freeper who has bought accessories online has dealt with TGSCOM at some point.

The issue here is, what is MSM going to do with the horrible fact that one of the largest accessory dealerships has sold a holster or mag to a killer?

One factor they are missing, though. The recent health club killer used a gym bag to transport his guns- what brand was it? What made him choose that brand? Is it especially suitable for carrying guns? What corporation owns that brand, and what else do they make?

As far as the gym being posted, no idea. I’m not sure what to carry when wearing spandex and doing aerobics.

“dulls the part of the brain that controls impulses”

I’ve noted that effect in some patients who take certain anti-depressants...a certain dulling of of the instincts that govern recognition of danger and/ or inability to reconcile and deal with moral ambiguities. I seen mothers slow to react to situations that can put children in danger or to recognize and correct for behaviours that can lead their children into great harm. Their mood is lightened but reactivity/ flight or fight responses are impaired as though they have been on a long marijuana binge!
