We were in a fight with the Taliban the other day and an A-10 pilot came on our radio net (from out of nowhere) and asked us several times if we needed help.
I could tell he wanted to turn that 30mm loose! More importantly, I instantly felt safer knowing there were two "Alpha One Zeros" looking after us.
