U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says it is a "great regret" that the United States is not a member of the International Criminal Court.

Clinton spoke Thursday in Kenya during a seven-nation tour of Africa.

The court is the first permanent institution authorized to try individuals for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes when national courts are unable or unwilling to do so.

The U.S. formally rejected U.S. participation in May 2002. A main concern was that American servicemen hunting down terrorists abroad might not be safe from politically motivated prosecutions.

Clinton said it is "a great regret but it is a fact that we are not yet a signatory. But we have supported the court and continue to do so."

I wonder if Hillary has something on Obama that would get him brought swiftly down by such an arrangement.

Hey Hilary, if this happens, your husband would be on the top of the list. Oh yeah, I think she wants him there.

They’re really bucking for a civil war, aren’t they? I can see this coming... US is dragooned into international court, the Euro-crazies go after some hapless soldier(s) for an offense real or imagined, and maybe half the US that isn’t completely anesthetized goes into orbit. Then, chaos.

Personally, I think we’ve already got enough problems with the “courts” we already have. Our “courts” and “judges” are all out of control. Why the hell would we want to screw around with a world “court”?

It’s no accident she should say this in the birthplace of the usurper.

Well, Hillary, you better come and try to get the guns first, because if you don’t get our guns, we probably aren’t gonna really care what some international court might say. On anything. And make sure that ‘international court’ knows that unlike the rest of the world’s citizenry, uh, we won’t be turning ours in. You’ll have to come and get them, door to door. See you when you get here.

That just angered me that she would subject our soldiers to that knowing full well how they would be treated.

As it does most of us. All of this is a wake up call to conservatives to get off their chairs and respond to this bunch. -And respond in ways they will understand very clearly.

Exactly to whom do you refer when you say "we", your thighness?
