Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) said Thursday that President Barack Obama deserves a failing grade for his first 200 days in office.
The libertarian-minded Republican ultimately graded the president at a just-passing D when asked to rate Obamas performance during an interview on CNNs American Morning, though only because he decided to factor in extenuating circumstances.
Id probably give them a D. He deserves an F, but I give him a D to make one point is that he's not responsible for this mess, Paul said.
The last administration has a lot to do with this. The Congress has a lot to do with it, the former presidential candidate added. So I would say hes failing, but he doesnt deserve all of the blame.
Paul was appearing on CNN with his son, Rand, who recently announced that he is running for Kentuckys Republican nomination for the United States Senate.

Heads up.
Last I looked, the CNN national poll showed Zero getting a majority of F in every state before the average calculation. You can add Congress to that F as well, IMO.
MSM and Mr. Obama “ off to the Gulag or Concentration camps for Ron “
Ping
Except on defense and Israel, Ron is an okay guy. Still, this is a “Captain Obvious” moment. Only took 200 days to analyze 0bama? Slow down there, Ron!
LOL...good analysis. I was figuring out how to put that, and you just...did it.
Most of us had 0bama pegged way back in 2004, when Ron was thinking “Well, he is correct on Iraq.”
Obama gets an F and the American people get F***** .
Well, what do you know. Something R-U-N Paul says that I can agree with.
F is for:
“Bush was not great, but toward the end he was absolutely lousy. But compared to obumber and the dem house and senate Bush was a genius.”

I wonder how good he would look if we knew exactly what he was up against. Going up against all the insanity the dims generate must be incredibly stressful. He couldn’t turn to the people for support because the whole of the MSM was doing everything possible to paint him as an idiot. A huge percentage of the people swallowed all that garbage hook, line and sinker. If Leonardo DaVinci lived today and ran for election as a Republican fools like Matt Lauer would be telling us that DaVinci is an idiot and Leonardo Decapitated or whatever his name is is a genius.
Like Christ is the answer for our spiritual malaise, conservatism is the answer for political malaise. I hope America wakes up.
...Bravo...
...The fact that you can agree with Paul on this issue means that you have an open mind. One issue, one opinion...
...The world spins and we reach for the rings, sometimes we get one...
Just so long as it’s not Sauron’s ring!
...Yer right. No one should have that ring. Three rings that check and balance each other, and lesser rings that are the rule of law. They put us all in the same Big top, and not in some carny side show tent...
Where do people get these urban legends? Ron Paul never said Obama was "correct" on Iraq. Precisely the opposite. He repeatedly pointed out that, rhetoric to the contrary, there was little to no difference between Obama and Bush on Iraq and Afghanistan.
Hindsight has proven him right. Under Obama, we have MORE troops in Afghanistan now than under Bush and the still over 100K in Iraq despite Bush's SOFA. The Pentagon budget is ALSO higher under Obama that it was under Bush.
It was the freepers who predicted that Obama was a McGovernite peacenik and theat would pull out of both places who were proven wrong.
Just think what could have been had the liberal loons, angery over the 2000 election, and the Lame Stream Media hadn’t painted GWB with such vitriolic angst and lies.
