Iggy Pop hurt himself in Columbus, Ohio when he tried to surf the crowd but nobody cared or knew wtf was going on. Bunch of 40-somethings just stood there and watched him hit the ground.

Not the first time this has happened. I saw it live at the Lynn Bowl in Lynn, MA in 1981. That time he was wacked out, high and drunk.

Yes, but back then that was the requirement to get into the show, performer and fans alike.

LOL! That was the truth. There was a near riot when it was announced that Aerosmith was done for the day.

Tyler is actually fairly conservative from what I hear, I think he was even a Bush supporter.

Steven Tyler on American Chopper
Steven Tyler's appearance from the Orange County Chopper's military charity auction is going to air on September 5, 2005 (Part 1), and September 12, 2005 (Part 2) on the Discovery Channel.

Episode 54: Military Bike 1
Junior and Senior join forces to build bikes that will be auctioned off, among other items, to benefit the families of U.S. troops seriously wounded or killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. To learn more about the two charities benefiting from the auction — the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and the Fisher House Foundation — OCC takes a field trip to the USS Intrepid, the scene of their Jet Bike unveiling so many years ago. Back at the shop, Senior has his mother's Cadillac restored to its original condition, surprising her with it, as father and son work through their rivalry and get started on their bikes.
premiere: Sept. 5, 2005

Episode 55: Military Bike 2
After a trip to the nuclear submarine USS Albuquerque for additional inspiration, Senior finishes his old-school chopper, and Junior, his more modern bike. Then it's off to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., to show the wounded troops their creations. Finally, as the auction draws near, OCC enlists the help of their celebrity friends, including Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, to obtain items to auction off and raise more money.
premiere: Sept. 12, 2005

Hey, don’t the rules require a picture of his daughter Liv(Arwen) at this point?

Steve needs to be a little more careful...once ObamaCare clicks in, if he falls and breaks his hip he’ll be getting End of Life Counseling from the Obama Health Committee.

He is as Conservative as is possible for a guy that called Boston his hangout. He is a good guy... and smokes good cigars to boot! He despises anti-tobacco nazis. I understand he calls Uncle Ted "friend".

I hope that he's OK. What I'm really afraid of is his breaking a hip, falling into a coma, and waking up in a Texas old age/rehabilitation home. Then he might have to do battle with an ancient Egyptian mummy / soul-sucker!
