I'm not. This lightweight will have no sway. She may even push Kennedy the other way.

A smart one would have been far, far worse.

For myself I am glad that she is an affirmative action hire who is unlikely to put together a cogent and convincing legal argument that would influence the other judges to her feelings based view of the law.

Better a dumb judge with a perverse view of the law than a smart and convincing one.

My sentiments exactly. Everytime I hear how historic this vote is I think ‘yes, for the first time in our history we have a proven bigot sitting on the Supreme Court’. I think I'll send Zero and Harry Reid a couple of hammers and pair of chisels so they can remove the blindfold on Lady Justice. She doesn't need it anymore.
