It’s interesting to note that in 1929 the US government was spending 3 % of our country’s gross domestic product (GNP).

2009, the US government will consume 40 % of our GNP... and even at that it’s spending 13 % more (or 1,8 trillion dollars) than it takes in.

We’re heading straight to Socialism, then bankruptcy.

The enormously expensive Congressional health bill, if passed, will seal the deal.
