Birth Certificate Matters

Where was Barack Obama born?

It’s a fair question.

But we still don’t know the answer because Obama won’t tell us, because he remains the most mysterious man ever to sit in the Oval Office.

This week I appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s No. 1 rated “The O’Reilly Factor” to discuss the controversy over Obama’s birth certificate, along with syndicated radio host Mike Gallagher. [See the video of my appearance — Click Here Now.]

Let me make clear that I believe Obama was born somewhere in the state of Hawaii. Days after his birth, a small legal notice was printed in the local newspaper announcing his birth.

And the head of Hawaii's Health Department has stated that he reviewed pertinent documents and that Obama was indeed born in that state.

So, those who believe Obama was born outside the United States, such as in Kenya, are simply out to lunch.

But the real story here is about Obama’s failure to release his birth certificate

It depends on the time of birth.
Our laws have changed several times on this matter.
What matters is the status of the law at the time of birth.

If that was what his COLB said then that is what the newspaper announcements would have said.

Must be something else. IMHO.

I don't know whether or not McCain was eligible and if he had won the Presidency, I'm fairly certain we'd be having this discussion about McCain's eligibility rather than obama's.

But, obama's eligibility is more questionable. We can say that both McCain and obama are citizens, assuming that obama was born in Hawaii, but what constitutes being a NBC?

Some say you must be born on US soil with both parents being American citizens, but there are other questions that keep coming up on these forum posts regarding citizenship status:

What if your mother isn't married when you are born? What if your biological father isn't an American citizen? What if your mother moves overseas before she is legally able to convey citizenship? What if your mother remarries a foreigner and he adopts you?

Do any of these questions apply to obama and, if so, how do they change his citizenship status?

No, the House did not do the same for Hussein. Show me where the House proved he was eligible to be president from this from HR 593. They merely agreed he was born in Hawaii. Now how they determined that is leaves much to be desired.

“Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii”

At the time of his birth -

Ann wasn’t old enough to pass on her US citizenship
Obama Sr. was not an American
Did not meet natural born status

Bottom line, he is not eligible.

Maybe it lists him as caucasian rather than negro???

I'm not sure how well that would go over. :)

If Obama was born in the US, then the age of Ann does not matter.

If Obama was born outside the US, the age of Ann does matter.

No, he still doesn’t meet natural born status with papa being a foreigner.

Opinion is one thing.
Law is another thing.
Fact is another thing.

“Natural Born Citizen” means:

“A Citizen at time of BIRTH!”

Clearly, a person born on U.S. Soil is a citizen at birth.

There is NO law that would show otherwise, at the time that Obama was born.

If Obama was born in Hawaii, then Obama WAS a “Natural Born Citizen” -—

But, even if Obama was born on US Soil, did Obama later RENOUNCE his citizenship?

In that case, Obama would either STILL be an alien, if not a Citizen, or Obama would be “naturalized” if he again regained his citizenship.

You are confusing natural born with native born.

You are confusing your opinion with the law.

The language is clear.

Natural Born Citizen simply means citizen at the time of birth.

NOTHING ELSE!

... it's very hard to believe that the coverup began within days of his birth, when he was a half-breed nobody born to a red-diaper baby, and likely out of wedlock at that.

Actually, its not at all hard to believe, if the Grandparents were strongly motivated and active in wanting to have the baby given US citizenship...which would have been significantly more complicated...and expensive...if they had fessed up to the real facts.

They were citizens of the world who hated the US and everything about it.

And citizenship for Baby Barack would have been a trivial matter, that cost either nothing or a minimal fee.

"When someone hides something, they have something to hide."

Or that person could be toying with others. I'm more than a bit concerned that this could end up being a huge “rope a dope” scheme.

Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961...

Looks like a confirmation that he is eligible to me.

However, Citizenship CAN be renounced, AFTER you are born.

But only as an adult, and only as a deliberate act. It cannot be renounced for you or given up by accident.

It appears that Obama’s citizenship was compromised in such a way, due to his adoption by Soeterro, in Indonesia.

No it wasn't. Even if Obama had, in fact, been adopted.

44. Barack Obama — Address: Unknown.

Supposedly it was in a hospital in Honolulu. I've seen the birth announcement and all the rest. So how do you know for sure he wasn't born there? For that matter, how do you know for sure all those other presidents were born where they said they were?

Do you have a primary document proving that? What hospital was he born at?
