Yes, we saw that when Condi approached the issue in racial terms, palestinians the oppressed blacks of her youth in the south, Israel, well she didn’t say it, but George Wallace.

I hesitated to mention this in the Gates uproar, but the fact is he is not a bad guy. He took a very strong position against Nation of Islam and black anti-Semitism.

You can't blame Obama for Gate's reaction, he's a good guy with a chip on his sholder, but Obama, you bet, he made it an issue of race.

I'm reminded of Mel Gibson's tirade at the Jewish cop, the media didn't focus on Mel's childhood, or the reasons for his reaction. They properly focused on the incident, as did Mel, and he apologized. Wasn't the officers fault. Different treatment.
