This is kind of my point: we are almost beyond "taking to the streets," since a) the media won't cover it; and b) the entire PURPOSE of "taking to the streets" is to exert pressure on elected officials. What if they don't care and/or they are being set up by Obama who doesn't care if they lose?

Seriously, what kind of "taking to the streets" will move Voinovich (stepping down after this term) or Collins, LET ALONE BOXER, to change a vote or seriously oppose Obama?

The saddest part of all is that we have generations in this country who have no clue nor the capacity or care or concern to know what our Constitution states.

The answer, of course, is that nothing will change these people - and nothing will make our erstwhile ‘champions’ (the Republicans) put up more than a Token Resistance...

(The representation we need in Congress would be using every trick in the book to obfuscate/delay/deny the easy victories - we need people who fight dirty, and wear the “Party of NO” label with pride!)

(But, I digress...)

My point is that too many of us are guilty of short-term-tunnel-vision — we know, in our hearts, that we’re not gonna stop anything that’s happening now, so our strategic goal must be to provide the kernel for the (hopefully) vast majority of the ‘vaguely discontented’ to coalesce around, over time....

Tactically, we’re on the right track - being loud and boisterous and confrontive and combative. The more our enemies take notice and attack us, the more Undecided/Apathetic take notice of the essential ‘wrongness’, and our movement grows.....

Discouragement is our real enemy!!
