they came upon an abandoned house, according to a statement from the Mexican Secretary of National Security. A light was on inside the house and the front door was open, soldiers said.

Why doesn't this ever happen to me?

I wonder if the stuff was put there for them to find? Drug dealers do that all the time to help out officials on the payroll.

Mexican soldiers seized more than 136,000 rounds of ammunition, more than 9,400 bullet magazines, 20 firearms and a grenade inside an abandoned house here Tuesday morning.

That sounds like it could mean 470 loaded magazines for each firearm I'm extremely envious

I'll give the reporter a passing grade for not calling them clips but he could have gotten a B+ if he knew the difference between bullet and cartridge
