Stanley who was 18 years old at the time, had never lived away from her mother and had no knowledge or experience in child care or living on her own would have to have done all these things and others in two weeks. I don't believe it.
Obviously Mom did the logistics. Mom wasn't preggers and wasn't laid up in a hospital after delivery. I suspect Baby remained in Hawaii. With a Mom-provided nanny.

Several of Stanley's high school friends recall seeing her and young Barack in Seattle in 1961. One of her friends recalled she had to change young Barack’s diapers because Stanley didn't know how.
