FWIW, I've never believed the "Once Saved, Always Saved" logic of some extreme Christian fundamentalists and this dirtbag is a poster boy as to why.
OTOH, I do believe that all people will be resurrected. That was a gift of Christ's atonement. So if that's what this dirtbag means by eternal life, I'll concede that point.

Me neither. I just got out of a discussion with some "Once Saved, Always Saved" believers and this incident is a perfect example of the dangers of it.

I am sad that (1) people taught him that destructive doctrine, (2) that he believed it and (3) that he acted on it. Makes me wonder what the consequences for the 'teachers' will be.
