Surprise, surprise. I ran a search for this; hope I'm not duplicating a post.

So much for the heralded transparency.

To paraphrase the car salesman quoted on Drudge ‘the Govt can run a simple program like Cash for Clunkers, but they think they can run health care?’

More transparency?

I can hardly take it.

It’s...it’s as if I had X-ray vision and could see *everything*.

So no one is allowed to check the efficacy of a billion dollar program, but we’re told government run healthcare will be just FINE—a BIG money-saver!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So will asking for it get us labeled crazy conspiracy nuts?

Need to look under Rahm’s toe-shoes.
I am sure the data are there.

The Obama administration is refusing to release government records on its "cash-for-clunkers" rebate program that would substantiate - or undercut - White House claims

If it proved the system was working then the data would be front page news.

Since it is not front page news...

All this money that is NOT GOING TO AMERICA.

Guys, I don’t want to feel like my head is tightly wrapped in tinfoil anymore than it already is, but I have a sneaky feeling in my gut that money is being funnelled out of America and God knows where.

NO ACCOUNTABILITY.

Bernanke making a Congressman laugh by saying why we gave enough money to New Zealand for every citizen to receive $30,000 each was to help the world credit or some such nonsense.

We are being robbed and mocked while it’s happening.

I've heard several dealers say they can't even get on line to find out if someone is qualified. A couple of them say they haven't been able to get through a single deal under this scheme. Another one said the software was so poorly written and implemented that it alone was keeping the program from going anywhere.

I heard the dealer who had the great buy a car get an AK-47 promotion saying the whole thing is a big lie. Hopefully someone can find his interview and make it available. He pointed out dozens of problems with the program and how impossible it was to get through the online process to even determine if a particular deal was eligible. Oh goodness, there's that eligibility thing again.

Obviously the system of checks and balances our forefathers provided to help prevent such debacles has failed in this case. They never conceived that anyone would actually get into the Oval Office without having proved their eligibility or that Congress would put us trillions of dollars into debt and then continue to pile trillions more on top of that. One of the underpinnings of scams throughout history has been that to work they had to be big, really big. Maybe that's what's really meant by “too big to fail!”
