WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House called Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the "elected leader" of Iran on Tuesday when asked whether President Barack Obama recognized the Iranian president after the country's disputed election.

"This was a decision and a debate ongoing in Iran by Iranians, they were going to choose their leadership," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said. "He's the elected leader."

Great Photo thank you for sharing that.

How disgusting. The Iranian people rise up and fight for their freedom and President Obama stabs them in the back. He sends a chilling message to all peoples seeking freedom, and a green light to those who would oppress them.

err... Gibbo should've said it was a 'ROBUST debate' & it isn't over yet!

A prediction I'm comfortable with although still very early days: I very much doubt 0bama will be re-elected for a second term. Time for Republicans to make sure they have a great candidate, with serious foreign policy experience, for President in 2012.
