It’s possible such statements (in a college application) were made under penalties of perjury. I don’t know.

At the very least, he would be subject to some action by the school, even after graduation - being stripped of the degree is perhaps possible.

And the Illinois state bar could take action.

Then again, the chances of that happening are less than the chances of Miss America becoming my girlfriend.

But imagine if, say, a conservative Republican were found to have done this, and imagine what an Ivy League school and a state bar in a very blue state would do.

But if he had dual citizenship (Indonesian and American after age 18, possibly triple citizenship(!) beforehand), would the school have minded?
