So let’s legalize weed - as if the cops didn’t have enough to do...

This woman and these kids were apparently returning from a camping trip in upstate New York when this accident occurred.
I'd be curious to know if there were any other adults in the group with them, and if so, how they got home.

OMG
I have been following this all week. She left the camp ground in the morning and drank and smoked. Where did she stop to drink and smoke. She had five kids in the car and left at 9:30 in the morning and supposedly stopped at Mcdonalds for brunch?

Yes, but thank you for pointing that out to make sure I saw it! So adding a legal weed to the mix is a positive? The alcohol genie is out of the bottle but hopefully legalization of ANOTHER drug won’t happen soon...

Maybe she didn't stop?

For your argument to be consistent, you should be pushing for alcohol to be returned to illegal status.

That’s the brother’s daughters that were killed. She killed her two year old and her brother’s three girls. The picture posted is her brother and sister in law and dead girls.

Thanks - I taught third grade and this makes me want to vomit....

Guess the alcohol had nothing to do with it then.....

There was always something weird about this. I’m still not sure she was not suicidal ... I think she picked that truck to make sure the job was done.
The fact that she called her husband just before the drash and then he called the police immediately. THEN she throws her cellphone out the window.
And this was a route she “knew like the back of her hand”.

Actually, that is a picture of the driver’s brother, sister-in-law, and three nieces. All of those little girls died in this crash, along with the driver’s own daughter, and the three men in the other vehicle.
Her son survives, thank God.
Sad regards,

I think she was working up courage to kill herself. I think they should look at the state of her marriage, finances and anything else that could have driven her over the edge.
