North Korea welcomed former President Bill Clinton to Pyongyang with flowers and hearty handshakes Tuesday as he arrived in the communist nation on a surprise mission to bring home two jailed American journalists.

Clinton was making his first trip to North Korea in hopes of securing the release of Laura Ling and Euna Lee, reporters for former Vice President Al Gore's California-based Current TV media venture who were arrested along the North Korean-Chinese border in March. But the visit could reap rewards beyond the women's release, with Clinton and North Korean officials broaching the nuclear impasse, diplomatic relations and other long-standing issues between Washington and Pyongyang, analysts said. Kim, the vice foreign minister, also serves as North Korea's chief nuclear negotiator.

Just a hunch, but Kim may be wanting to embarasss the Clintons and poke Obama in the eye because Hillary called him an 'unruly teenager'. I hope Clinton can get the women home, but would not be shocked if Kim does not try to get back at Hillary for making fun of him.

Who knows whar Obama is doing. No doubt he's going to offer the little backwards commie some kind of deal and part in their new commie world order dreams.

The Clintons are trying to embarrass Obama. They don’t like him.

1) Isn’t it illegal to travel to NK?? (But I guess not for demigods. . . .)
2) I pity the poor Secret Service agents; it must be a nightmare trying to maintain security.

What nonsense. Surprise visit?
You just don’t land in Pongyang and say,
“ Hellooo, just dropped by for a minute to
see ol’Kim.”

The media needs a good thrashing until
our moral improves.

Clinton: I'm here for the girls.

Kim: What girls?

Clinton: Those that met me at the airport would be good for starters.
