"When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a Federal computer system and is the property of the U.S. Government. Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected and disclosed to authorized CARS, [Department of Transportation] and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign."

Glenn did mention how he came across the web page. A single individual contacted him and told him about it. That person does not want to be know.I don't blame that person. If the government knew who it was, Obama could issue an IRS audit on that person and make that person's life a living hell.

Sorry about that. When I wrote
It has nothing to do with your tax return I wasn't very clear at all. What I meant was that someone else's deductions on their 1040 had nothing to do with YOUR own tax filing, deductions, exemptions, etc.
Many people don't have mortgages or children, in fact most don't, if you consider every taxpayer's lifetime of IRS filings. So your lack of deductions is not a direct transfer of money to a taxfiler who does have those deductions, in the way that the payment of $4500 to certain new car buyers is a direct transfer, aka "redistribution" of wealth.
