Because you say the pre printed form has been superimposed over the signature does not make it so. This is simply the process of fading over the years

People have been saying that over and over again without addressing the rest of the signature. Again:



The lower left arrow points to the handwritten "Y" being covered by the "D". The lower right arrow points to the second handwritten "Y" covering the "s". The upper arrow points to the letter "S" where there is no guttering within the fold.

It is obvious that the ink has faded on the Australian one after 40 odd years and was written with a fountain pen

Or it could of been written last week with a felt tip pen. For historical reference the "BIC" pen was created in 1950. Many of brave shirt pockets were destroyed. Felt tip pens date back to 1940, but were used for artwork.

The date of the introducion of the ball point pen is not in dispute - it certainly was not acceptable in Europe or the Colonies by the upper levels of the Civil Service until much much later and even now it frowned upon for signatures on official documents.

Anyway, the matter is moot as the the maker of Kenyan birth certificate has confessed to it being a fraud.
