I was unaware that a Photoshop document, once compressed as a jpeg or other image type, could be broken back down into the layers they were in as a PSD.

It’s not being broken down into ‘layers’ per se, but it’s being broken up into pieces of the original graphic, literally ‘dividing scanned photo’. It’s just improper terminology used.

Same here. I am catching flack on this and admit I am no expert. I understand the fourier algorithm however I wonder if the inverse transform could offer any help. If it cannot then that is fine. There is ample evidence of fraud just in the single posting of the two inverse images.
I need to catch up on this thread where I left off.
Will play with it more and port it back to my older full photoshop package to examine it and the bit mapping.
When I said I was catching flack I also meant that I received some "harassing" freepmail from a newbie. Does anyone know how to report mail abuse? Thanks.
