I have three saved images from before 8am. One from WND, the now notorious Salamander edit of same, and the scribd version. The scribd version definitely shows EF and 47O44. The Salamander version which by Salamander’s own admission was a copy of the original shows the same — EF and 47O44. The WND one shows the same, as well, and still does on their site now. I’m pretty sure that whatever you’ve got is just a resolution artifact.
I saved a copy of the image as posted Saturday night. Someone swapped it out since then (they redirected the URL to a different place). My copy clearly shows the K.F. Lavender. And the “0” does look like a “6” in the number.
This is what I've been trying to say. People are enlarging and zooming low-resolution originals and trying to discern "E"s and "K"s. They look virtually the same on such a low res photo of typewritten copy.
Oh, bloody hell.
Of all things I’ve ever wanted to be, “notorious” was not even among the top 1000...:-|
