No doubt he expected the Iranians to love him cause he hates Bush,,,
We could stand to lose a few more of those degreed students.
he’ll get to practice some 1st person conflict resolution.
If he survives, the libtard will have had the best education experience of his life.
And he got lost hiking?
That degree will come in real handy when dealing with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
Poor SOB, he has been indoctrinated with totally useless information. If he survives he should sue his University.
Now’s a good time to put those college skills to work. Peace and conflict... good luck. Too bad he didn’t take any common sense (how to have some and how to use it) classes. What a fool.
"He's a very thoughtful, caring person, soft-spoken, smart, bright. Has lots of travel experience and is someone that I would expect to be an experienced camper," Tiffany said.
Oh yes! As we all can see!
So he went over there thinking that they would embrace him and treat him kindly because he was reporting their side of the story. Hey, I'm sorry for the mom, but the reporters that go there thinking they are for some reason immune get a rude awakening. As much as it has happened they continue to keep making the same mistake.
Is either an idiot or Agency.
“Peace and Conflict Studies”, eh?
No doubt he’s getting a lesson in how the REAL world operates. But too bad he did not instead find out with his first paycheck- “Like, dude, where did all my MONEY go?”...
“...graduated from the University of California-Berkeley with a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies...”
Means he’s a dumbass.
If he gets out of Iran alive he should then volunteer to work a liquor store on Chelsea Avenue in Memphis so he can completely effect his change from flaming liberal to conservative.
It is hard to be sympathetic to these Al Franken Minnesota types who despised Bush and were certain he was wrong. These people really believed that going hiking in Iran was a risk that was overblown by some corporate type in the evil Bush CIA. And now thy will pay for that naivete
Oh, brother. Well, it will give him an opportunity to see what happens when two sides with different narratives attempt to come together. His is "I'm on your side, I hate Bush too." Theirs is "So are you worth more to us as a hiker with a BS degree, a hostage, or a corpse?"
In this particular conflict of viewpoints it is important to deconstruct the two meta-narrative texts and reveal the underlying motivations, coming to the synthetic position that the fellers with the guns win. That'd be the way to bet, anyway.
Didn’t they have a GPS in those cell phones?
hell get to practice some 1st person conflict resolution.”
How much of the school he attended gets State and Federal funding??? No student’s tuition pays the whole cost of going to school. There is always additional funding from other sources.
What kind of “education” and “degree in conflict resolution” gets you a job doing what??? Playground supervisor for 2-8 year olds???? Who sets the curiculum for that school??? Maybe this jerk could get a job in the near future telling us old folks why we have to die under Nobamacare...
Sure would be absolutely beyond tickled to have had a job applicant tell me that they had a degree in such a topic and that I should hire them.
I haven’t had to hire and fire since the mid-80’s, but I would still be laughing.
