This is a message board where people share opinions. I’m sharing mine. It’s forceful, it’s persuasive, and it’s articulate, and I know people don’t like that when they disagree. I’m would definitely love to hop off this train, which is currently barrelling toward a stone wall, but I’d much rather redirect the train to get to where we want to go. Hopping off just leaves me alone, in the middle of nowhere, while the rest of the people who agree with me on other, more important issues, continue on to destruction.

We are not going to luck into the presidency, folks. We need ideas, solutions, and clear, positive viewpoints. The “birth certificate” is not one of them.

No, you are NOT “sharing” your opinion. You’re trying to enforce it on the rest of us when you tell us we have to “drop” this topic. I’m not dropping it because you say so. I’ll drop it when it’s proven moot. Meanwhile, I guess you’ll have to just get over it.

It’s forceful, it’s persuasive, and it’s articulate,

It's bossy, it's controlling, it's rude, it's condescending.........

No, it isn't, no you're not. Depsite your best efforts, more people are showing interest and open mindedness in this issue than even 30 days ago.

Why is it so hard for you to let those who want to pursue this issue do so without your distraction? I'll bet you were embarrassed by the Impeachment movement, too, weren't you?

Let them go. It is an unfortunate distraction but it is still a carnival sideshow. There are tens of thousands of us that are working every day to put the train back on track and, frankly, this keeps the goobers out of our hair. We have open field running while they chase Will-o'-the-wisps.

Worlds are colliding and the future of the country is at stake. We don't really need a bunch of welterweights gumming up the works. I wouldn't trust them with the future of the Republic any more than I would the Democrats. We need men who are up to the titanic challenges that are real.

Not to mention vain and obnoxious.

It’s not about “lucking into the presidency” or whatever other irrelevant motive you’re ascribing here, it’s about the fundamental principle of whether we live any longer in a society governed by law and the Constitution on the subject of the most basic qualifications of our nation’s chief executive.

I'm positive that if there is a really strong conservative candidate in the next election, instead of someone chosen by the party elite, then he, or she, will win.

How's that for starters? Positive enough?
