Except for the rest of us old white folk, no one else is going to be hankering after anyone like us. It takes majorities to win an election. Today, majorities are influenced by celebrity charisma.
Our entire bench, so far, is just not going to appeal to enough urban dwellers, moderates, youth and those with their hands out full of their wants, needs and wishes. Unfortunately for us and the nation, these are the majority. I am out here in the real world and I am usually saddened and shocked by the amount of bigotry against southern speech patterns and all the baggage the media and the progressives have managed to pile on the South. I am a Yankee who loves the food, accent and traditions of the South. Mention this in any even moderate Democrat group and the dismissal becomes loud and continuous.
And I agree with you: our best candidates are Southern. I just have enough contact with Democrats to be pretty sure the response to any of them will be contempt and boredom. I still hear that all the problems are the fault of the right, who *broke* our economy. We either bring back the Democrat and independent moderates to our side, or we lose, again.
Spit in one hand and wish in the other, see which fills up faster. The donks win over and over again because they are willing to be incrementalists who play the system. We lose because we don’t do that. I am hoping first for enough of a change in Congress to at least stonewall the progressive agenda. Beyond that, IMO, we need a Black Swan event to change things in our favor. I do hope zerO himself is that event.
Incrementalism is their way and it works for THEM and their political religion.
It has not and will not work for us... Besides, That would require us to live for an extended period of time under their purview as their slaves and cattle.

Freedom is something Im not willing to wait for any longer. It is time to get deadly serious about getting it back. No more games, political or otherwise... Just decisive action aimed at the restoration of freedom and liberty to those who still want it.
That means we can no longer afford to have “moderate” socialists among our ranks. We are going to be required to sink our teeth into a few states and set them free from the marxist tyranny of our fedgov. We are going to need to get the “conservatives” of that state behind us and the only way to do that is to be 100% committed to the cause. The folks on OUR side WILL commit ONLY when they sense that everyone else is committed to the same goal and cause. They dont want incremental change, nor should they. They want what should never have been taken away and they want it NOW. Working with socialist republicans weakens that commitment and makes it impossible to recruit real conservatives to do the hard work thats going to be needed.
Were not going to play their game any more. We are going to get back our freedom in a way that doesn’t require the idiots who vote for marxists to agree with us.
