You’re exaggerating. He said he’d like to be presented with evidence proving that BO was born in Kenya but that so far he’s not been convinced. He did not say it was all nonsense and for you to say that he said that denigrates him.
He gives credence to the newspaper announcements, is obviously unfamiliar with the counterarguments. But he is open to being persuaded by smoking gun evidence. That’s the problem. No one has produced smoking gun evidence yet.
That’s not the same as calling it all “nonsense.” You owe an apology.
