You may be right as rain, but there are a lot of trolls who have descended on Free Republic since Saturday and most of the trolls are trying to poke holes in the document and then declare it to be a fake. Most of the arguments fall flat.
That being said, if you are legitimate and that Kenya did not use the pence in 1964, then this is fairly good evidence of fraud.
But IIRC, this document is from the Coastal District, which was not really Kenyan until it was ceeded in December of 1963 and was not officially part of the Republic of Kenya until December of 1964.
Since it was more or less a province in Limbo, would it not have been both possible and logical that they would have used actual British money rather than colonial coin of the realm during the period between 1963 and the end of 1964?
