Why do you assume it’s an either/or proposition?

I’m in Bristol, Tennessee and our Tea Party is actively opposing Cap and Trade and the Health Care debacles. We’re all capable of multitasking.

Actually if you check Houghton M.’s source, there is a small error in his representation of it.

The Times of London does not call kenya the “Republic of Kenya”, and that term isn’t in the article. It said that the opposition leaders were announcing their intent to form a “Kenyan Republic”, and they would summon a leader to become its president.
Which they didn’t...

3 months later, they passed a constitution that made the Queen of England their head of state. They didn’t become a republic, nor have a president, until 15 months after this article was published.

It doesn’t matter really, because BP found that a seperate territory of Kenya outside of Kenyan territorial bounds (coastal province, leased from zanzibar?) considered itself a republic before the country did, and that’s the one in question for this document. Confused yet?

But you’re in luck, because BP found that the coastal province in question considered itself a republic before the country did. So it doesn’t matter.

Yep...and here’s that link for those interested in reviewing his research:

I’m so glad thousands upon thousands of patriotic Americans are spinning their wheels on this boondoggle instead of fighting Zer0’s socialist policies. /sarc for the insight impaired. *facepalm*

Is there any reason why a person would be unable to both ask questions on this issue AND fight Obama's policies? Chewing gum while walking has never presented me with such a dichotomy, at least since my "terrible twos". It's just not an either/or impasse for some folks.

What you posted is a fairly recent blank form. How can that possibly have ANY relevance, one way or another, for a 1961/1964 document?

In my experience, there is no government, particularly a third-world government, that asks for less information than before. Governments always become more intrusive, not less intrusive.

What I posted was a form that would make up the birth registry, not a copy of a form that would be provided to the parents. That would be the "record" in their manual database, from which the form that Orly is proffering would be generated.

The Kenyan Birth Registration law is, by their own admission, hopelessly outdated.

What that modern registry page shows us is a lot of good information:

On the good side: It shows how they compile their birth registries. They take individual sheets and bind them into a book. That explains why there would be a "page 5733" in Book 44b. (If it was a pre-bound ledger with a bunch of entries per page, there's no way they'd make a 6,000 page book)

On the down side: it doesn't ask for the birth places of the parents, nor the occupation of the father, nor the birthplace of either parent. Those are simply not questions that a government would stop asking over time.

Do I have "proof" of any of this? No. But from my experience both as a citizen of this country and from somebody who was once in the government (AF), as well as experience having to deal with overseas bureaucracies including those in third world countries, I would say that it is highly, highly unlikely.

If you take a look at this form, originally posted by FReeper cynwoody,

Photobucket

You will note that all of the fields on that form could be filled out from an examination of the registry page:

Photobucket

On the other hand, there is information in the Taitz form:

Photobucket

That couldn't provided from the registry.

This is not to say that the registry form couldn't have been changed to make it simpler, but it's just unlikely that the government would've stopped asking seemingly innocuous questions like: "what's the birthplaces of the parents" or "what's the occupation of the father" or "when were the parents married"

Now the certified birth certificate forms would be likely to change over time, I have no doubt about that. And the information provided on those forms would likely change over time, as well.

But the information that was in the registry is far less likely to change.

You can agree or not. As I said in the other thread, I'm not 100% that the Taitz form is a fake, but I'm moved over to the "doubt it" side, based upon the registry form.

>>>how in the WORLD did he get a security clearance without proving where he was born!!!<<<

They just hand it to him on a silver platter - no checks, no vetting, no nuthin! (Same with all Presidents)

Having held a Top Secret & Cryptographic clearance when in the service, I can tell you - he would NEVER have passed the first of the 12 continuous pages of disqualifying organizations. Seems every organization he has been associated with is anti-American.

Thanks so much Bruce, for taking the time to help me out on this.

So, the “debunker” is full of it, which is what I needed to understand about that person. Rabid disinformation on FR? I guess so. Bummer.

Just pinging this to myself for future reference. Its just indication that as early as 1961 they were referring to Kenya as “Republic of”.

I know. But as a citizen, you still don’t give up!

Fight, baby, through the courts so that war does not become the only option in taking on this corrupt elite in power. Not all judges are corrupt. There is bound to be one as uppity as you are!

If this has already been posted, sorry:

Details of Clinton’s Africa Trip

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE

Office of the Spokesman
For Immediate Release July 27, 2009

Statement by IAN Kelly, Spokesman

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Travel to Africa

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will begin a seven-nation trip to Africa on August 5 at the 8th U.S. – Sub-Saharan Africa Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum (known as the AGOA Forum) in Nairobi, Kenya.

This trip will highlight the Obama administration’s commitment to making Africa a priority in U.S. foreign policy. This will be the earliest in any U.S. administration that both the President and the Secretary of State have visited Africa.

While in Kenya, Secretary Clinton will discuss new approaches to development, including an emphasis on investment and broad-based economic growth. The Secretary will be joined in Kenya by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, and Assistant Secretary for African Affairs Johnnie Carson.

During the visit to Kenya, the Secretary will deliver a speech at the Ministerial Opening Ceremony for the AGOA Forum, participate in bilateral meetings with Kenya’s senior leaders, discuss global hunger and agricultural issues at a major research institute, and engage with Kenyan citizens.

Yeah, I really don't have much of an interest in the minutae of Kenyan territorial history, lol. To me the only important question on this point is "Was it the norm usage for vital stats documents at that time & place?".

If this document is the sole one-of-a-kid exception to a rule, then I think it's a problem. Until we have similiar vital stats docs from that time/place for comparison, we can only speculate.

>>>But this new (to me) information about Mombasa not even being part of Kenya when Obama was born makes it seem extremely unlikely that he was born there. <<<

Notice the document does not say Mombasa, Kenya - Just says he was born in Mombasa. That hospital may be where many Kenyans are birthed. I don’t know.

I think that a check of the book and page of the register is in order - then let the chips fall where they may!

Better yet - Mr. President - Stand and Deliver! Paperwork please.....

We just can’t let it distract us - we need to multi-task. Protest at town hall meetings, call, write, and continue to demand the documents - WE can walk and chew gum at the same time. Keep pluggin along...

“Or it could have been someone who got access to gradma’s or Stanley’s papers at death”

You are getting close to my theory, if the document is authentic. It was Stanley’s and was stapled with the divorce papers, after Stanley’s death it went to grandma and after grandma’s death it may have ended up in the hands of person/persons unknown. Mr. Obama may be sweating, which could cause other people to sweat.
