then he is no longer a tourist, as Iran will accuse him of spying. Dumba$$.
Like the al gore journalists caught in NK ?
Not much of a loss.
We would expect no less in America. But in Iran, the justice handed out is quite different. Not a bright move by the Americans who were arrested.
Foolish lefty journo SHANE, now cooling his heels an Iranian jail, here in better days in Berkeley, California, making a speech about US Imperialism and about how great the Middle East would be without the US Military...
Got just what the uppity bassages deserved. Nuff said, go to other news, let’em rot, hang, whimper, cry, who gives a shit? They were warned and just pushed their luck. Tough nookies smart asses!! Maybe you can blow your way to freedom.
That Shane Bauer who also contributes for Aljazeera and the Guardian? Let the bastard rot.
Journalists?
If Bush were still in office the New York Times would have them as CIA agents.
I was feeling bad for them and wondering why they were hiking in that dangerous location. Not anymore I don’t!
refusing to heed warnings from border guards
Let them rot. Dummys
Invited in? Detained by Iranians as cover for clandestine meetings?
The snitch tells the cop, after delivering the info, "Now hit me so it looks legit."
The State Department doesn't seem too concerned.
yitbos
They probably showed the guards attitude like Gates did to Sarget Crowley.
$$$ for a book deal. They did it on purpose. It will be Bush’s fault they got jailed.
Ima NutJob will probably invite them over for a Persian espresso on the veranda.
They should be paraded into Tehran as live hood ornaments just like in the movie Road Warrior 2.
No matter their lapses, in political ideology or otherwise, I would never wish such a thing on anyone, least of all an American.
