WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. John McCain says he is still on the fence when it comes to voting for Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor.
McCain says he is examining Sotomayor's record as an appeals court judge to decide whether she understands the limits to judicial power. He voted against her when she was nominated to the appeals court.
A Senate vote is expected this week.
The Arizona Republican says the prospect of Sotomayor becoming the first Hispanic on the high court is part of the discussion, and calls her a great American success story.
Two of McCain's close Senate colleagues differ on Sotomayor. Arizona's Jon Kyl is voting against her while South Carolina's Lindsey Graham plans to vote to confirm.
McCain spoke to CNN's "State of the Union" for its Sunday broadcast.

Matter of fact, they like the Dems having a voting majority, that way they can get the socialist programs that they, Republicans support, but have the Dems vote them in, and they get to cast meaningless NO votes and have political cover to pretend.
Just think of The American Conservative Union, supposedly the near John Birch side of the GOP, and David Keen, the 25 year hack/pied piper head, supporting Arlen Specter?
You can not trust the Washington GOP/RNC...at all.
The GOP/RNC fought Reagan, hates Palin. When they were running things, Bush/Fat Hastert/Lott, they increased spending and debts faster and way way more than LBJ.
And, now they are out to get, destroy, co-opt, Palin, or anyone like her. (That would be anyone who doesn’t play the Republican Kabuki Theater game where you pretend to be conservative(ish), spell bound the Republican sheeple, and make sure the leftist, big business, big finance agenda keeps going smooth and more powerful each year.)
I think Juan is trying to get some more campaign $$ from La Raza-Hispanic Ku Klux Klan....just recently La Raza-HKKK is starting their push to get Illegal Alien Amnesty....

John McCain is not undecided, he is trying to figure out how to ‘splain his vote and spin it to say he is a conservative. He will vote to approve her becuse he is a socialist POS RINO, though I repeat myself.
