Every other vet in the world that works with cats would tell you to pop the pill in the mouth, clamp the jaws shut, and rub the cat’s throat until the swallow reflex kicks in.

That technique works with dogs, too. It's the only way to do it.

The hard part for me is catching the dog, when my dogs hear a pill bottle open, they run like hell, LOL!
