Israel Prepared to Take on Iran

Israel this week reiterated its stance on dealing with the Iranian nuclear program, with Defense Minister Ehud Barak stating, "We clearly believe that no option should be removed from the table. This is our policy. We mean it." Barak's comments came as U.S. officials, including Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and National Security Advisor James Jones, traveled to Israel to discuss Iran. The Obama administration, for its part, continued to hold out for diplomacy, with Gates commenting, "The timetable the president laid out [for negotiating] still seems to be viable and does not significantly raise the risks to anybody." We suppose it depends on the definition of "risk."

We have been reporting on Iran's nuclear program for nearly five years now. We have taken note each time Iran rebuffed diplomatic overtures from the EU-3 (England, France, Germany), the P5+1 (U.S., UK, France, China, Russia + Germany), the G-8, the European Union, and now the Obama administration. The words of the Iranian regime could not be any clearer: "You can pass all the resolutions you like and dream on. But you cannot stop the Iranian nation's [nuclear] progress." At some point, Israel will decide that it can no longer watch and wait as Iran speeds toward obtaining nuclear weapons. When that day comes, we hope that Secretary Gates and President Obama have prepared for what will follow.

Will BHO no show his true colors and tell everyone whose side he really is on? Or will he remain spineless and make no commitment either way?

If Israel strikes first, Hussein will condemn it.

Why is he bothering to give speeches? I'd like to hear the message delivered by the Israeli Air Force and their special forces, not by CNN. If they're going to do it, it's time. If not, maybe they can pick out a nice final resting place for each citizen of Israel and stop trying to raise our hopes with (empty?) words.

I’m hoping Israel puts them back into the stoneage and at the same time gives hussein fuckwadi a hawaiian good luck gesture.

As much as I want them gone, I can not realistically see how any plan, no matter how meticulous, brilliantly thought, implemented it may be is not going to run afoul of the Pandora's Box aka the "Law of unintended consequences".

Law of Unintended Consequences
(also called the "law of unforeseen consequences") states that any purposeful action will produce some unintended consequences. A classic example is a bypass — a road built to relieve traffic congestion on a congested road — that attracts new development and with it more traffic, resulting in two congested streets instead of one.

This maxim is not a scientific law; it is more in line with Murphy's law as a warning against the hubristic belief that humans can fully control the world around them. Stated in other words, each cause has more than one effect, and these effects will invariably include at least one unforeseen side effect. The unintended side effect can potentially be more significant than any of the intended effects.

This was predicted in the Old and New Testament, and it records that the "side effect" will be that Russia, along with the Islamic and Arab nations, will attack Israel, BUT God will make His Name Known to ALL Mankind by supernaturally defeated all these armies, and bring to rubble all their armies, and parts of their nations. It will take Israel 7 years to bury the dead and clean the mess that was created because they will all be destroyed by God Almighty on "The mountains of Israel" and buried east of Jerusalem in a place that will be calle "Hamon Gog".
