The last one encompasses the first four, well for most so-called 'journalists' anyway.

This story is a couple days old, but I couldn't find it posted in a search, sorry if repeat. Cheers to all.

All kinds of catastrophes and crisis make for good ratings and more publicity for the journalists covering it.

They’re probably also petulant about no Atlantic hurricanes so far too.

Photobucket Uuuuhhhh, he said gas. Photobucket

Oh, yeah, heh, heh. Guys who write stuff eat at Taco Bell and then they get gas...that's cool! Or maybe they are like environmental whackos who think that like, walking to work 9 miles away would like reduce global cooling or something.*

*I told my wife she could either buy me a Rolex or the Beavis And Butthead box set for my birthday. Take a wild guess what I got. 7k for a watch was a waste.

No news is good news - because good news "isn't news."

And that is the bias of journalism - the tendency to profit from the misfortunes of others.

I guess they also never made the connection between high gas prices/energy costs and the economic troubles it precipitated.

I blame the Democrats policy of demonizing fossil fuels as the impetus for the majority of our economic woes.
