You said — President Obama is my president. I watched him take the oath of office. For me, the citizen ship sailed when the Reverend Wright ship sailed. Or when the Bill Ayers ship sailed. I sympathisize with people who continue to cling to thing to the hope that he will leave office, but I’ve moved on. I do, however, resent the left’s idea that everyone who believes things like this is a right wing extremesit.

I just say to do the normal and sane and practical thing and get a state law passed that requires a candidate to produce his birth certificate or else he cannot be placed on the ballot.

I don’t know why so many here argue against that solution (and they do... )... LOL...

See this thread for someone who *gets the right idea*... :-)

I can’t imagine why anyone would have a problem with a law that requires the presentation of the LONG form birth certificate in order to file for the position of POTUS. Particularly given the current concern and various rumors of where and who, it seems a law would preclude such questions in the future. And that would be a good thing.

I also can’t imagine why anyone who is in an office that has natural citizenship as a stated requirement would have a problem showing their birth certificate, even if after the fact and while occupying said office.

So please, can someone tell me why we can’t see it???

I agree that we need to pursue preventative measures for next time.

Continuing to question whether he is Constitutionally qualified in a calm and deliberate manner, questioning his lack of documentation, and his loyalty to the US Constitution and most of its people has caused ripples of disbelief through the sector of the population which may be experiencing voter regret.

Just as we do not need to wake up those who have been opposed to Obama's policies, there is a contingent who will regularly drink the Kool-Aid and proclaim it Merlot.

There is, however a third group, who have been depending on the MSM all these years for news and opinions has had their eyes opened, who have that seed of doubt sprouting within their psyche, who are looking, perhaps for the first time with critical thinking at the polices espoused by Obama and embraced by the Congress, and are beginning to realize that they have been played for suckers.

We have been witness to the greatest rip-off in the history of humans, and the looting continues, at Obama's request with the nearly full compliance of Congress.

Keep beating the drum! Where's tha documentation?

The Dems beat the "Bush-failure" drum for over eight years, heck, they still dust it off.

They had no substantiable reason, we have every reason.

GIve no slack in any quarter, as more people become aware of the issue (the real issue, of Natural Born Citizenship, of oaths possibly violated, and of the contempt for the Constitution) we can make them aware of the theft of their rights and money on all fronts.

Like why the Government is paying other people up to $4500 to buy a car and crush their old one when those (crushed) vehicles might be in better shape than those many who live within their means drive even now, and that the same people who live within their means are expected (AGAIN!) to pick up the tab for others who might not be living within theirs...

but that is another issue...

I would suspect that the political parties are responsible for vetting candidates since the forms from the parties state that their candidate is Constitutionally eligible for office. Pelosi signed them. Ah but wait, there are 2 posted on FR. Only ONE has the statement on Constitutional eligibility. Interesting, no?
