Hardly. Rudy was raised a "NY Dhimmicrat". He supported RFK and McGovern, and admired Rockefeller Republicans like Jacob Javits and John Lindsey. Rudy changed parties, not his politics. Having grown up on the streets of Brooklyn, I knew many "Rudy Giuliani's", liberal NewYorkers to their core.
On many major issues, Rooty's position is no different than Obama's --- Roe v Wade, abortion on demand, gun control, special rights for homo's, amnesty, big government.
most of what you say is true and he is still the best you can do in NY....and he is still head and shoulders ahead of Paterson...or ‘putzhead’ Schumer or Guillebrand...
