Hearken back to the days immediately following The Great Spreader’s election. Many “experts” were saying this was the death of the Pubbie Party. My thought was (1) Obama owed a lot of his win to the late September financial crisis (blamed entirely on the Pubbies by the media) and (2)Obama would help with the resurgence of the Pubbies with his own disastrous ineptitude.
Unfortunately, the laws they pass while in power stay with us forever...
If I were running for President, I would promise to lobby for a Great Purge of Federal Laws - entire sessions of Congress dedicated to removing laws from the Federal books!
