At Watters Creek Shopping Center in Allen, hybrid drives don’t have to pay to park.

This kinda crap really pisses me off. let's see, I ride my bike to work. I usually only drive on the weekends and that's when we all pile into the car (not a hybrid) to go somewhere together, often shopping. Monday morning, the environmentally unfriendly non-hybrid is parked and I'm back to pedaling my bike. I can get away with one tank of gas a month.

Yet, I have to pay for my parking because I'm not environmentally conscious like the hybrid owner who drives to work every day?

I rarely jump on the boycott wagon but I certainly would not patronize this shopping center and I'd let them know exactly why I'd be taking my business elsewhere. And in this economy, I'm sure there's many establishments who would happily take my business.

This is Texas. Am I going to park in the free garage, or leave my car out in the sun at a metered space in the summer sun. (Hint, when I go there, I park in the free garage.)

I didn’t know the mall with the JC Penny was open yet. Last time I drove past, it was still a construction zone.
