This VIP loan program was more of an ego trip thing for Mozillo. Many thousands of borrowers got VIP loans for any number of reasons. Basketball players, famous actors, and the like. I got one because I have known Bob Feinberg for many years. He is the head of the VIP Program who is shown on the video. Most of those loans went to borrows with high incomes and perfect credit. I WAS RIGHT! i said if oblabo’s popularity started dropping the media would start spotlighting the congress. they would try to put the heat on repubs but everyone knows that the dems are in charge (we won). so the media, in an attempt to get oblabo off the hook (they have a vested interest in propping him up since they worked so hard to get him elected), would sacrifice the dems congress to shift the blame.
