See, I knew it, people put her names on events that she has not even committed to attending. This is exactly what the media wanted, to say “See, she flaked out of another event” when in reality she NEVER said she was attending
The last line is telling : “Additionally, all invitations bearing the Governor’s name must be approved by her attorney before proceeding.”
Still, her PR people have got to get a better grip on this—whether it’s not leaving ‘maybe’ acceptances hanging or setting the record straight more quickly. I’m not sure what’s at the root of the problem.
