Yes!!! in this package, the people who graduated from a 6 month course in a technical center would serve as our grandmother’s gatekeeper and our handicapped child’s doctor.

Indeed they should be thrown out... this legislation should be unconstitutional as it tramples on the state’s rights and violates the 10th amendment. This proposal allows “medical homes” to be established for the care of patients staffed only by mid-level providers such as nurse practitioners and physician assisants. This begs the question as to how they can be a physician assistant when there is no physician - but I digress!
The licensure and privileges to practice are clearly under the auspices of the state’s legislatures not the federal government.
They will dumb-down medical care by allowing “fake-doctors” to provide unsupervised care — be afraid - be very afraid!!
These nut jobs need to be taken to the woodshed, and beat repeatedly.
