The woman who authorities say was found with the missing Worcester baby will be arraigned on fugitive from justice charges in a Concord, N.H., courtroom this morning.

Julie A. Corey, 35, of 3 Henry Terrace in Worcester, was arrested by New Hampshire State Police yesterday.

Authorities say Ms. Corey was found in Plymouth, N.H., yesterday with the baby that had been cut from the womb of the Worcester woman found slain in her Worcester apartment earlier this week.

Her arraignment is slated for shortly before 11 a.m. in Concord. The arraignment will take place via videoconferencing, with Ms. Corey remaining at an undisclosed location.

Last night, Worcester Detective Capt. Edward J. McGinn Jr. described Ms. Corey as a “person of interest” in the homicide of Darlene L. Haynes, who was found Monday wrapped in a comforter in a closet of her apartment at 94 Southgate St. She had been eight months pregnant, but her fetus was missing.

He said police interviewed Ms. Corey and a man who had baby with them in Plymouth yesterday.

The Union-Leader of Manchester, N.h., has identified the man with Ms. Corey as Alex Dion, 27. No charges have been filed against him.

Ms. Corey told workers at the shelter that the girl was 6 days old and identified herself as the mother but had no documents about the child, according to the paper.

Ms. Corey was arrested as she tried to leave the shelter with the newborn after workers alerted police and a nurse began photographing the baby with her cell phone, the report said. Police soon confronted the woman and made the connection to the Worcester case.

But let’s see - if it was the other way around - baby killed and mom survives - it’s protected by the Constitution because the mom says it’s OK???? Hmmm...

She should have said the kid was born in Hawaii.

Seriously though I'm glad the baby is OK -- what a horrific story.

In story, eight-month-old being in utero is “fetus”; same being cut out of mother is “baby”. Worcester reporter is an on-the-ball liberal obviously angling for a Tiller Memorial Award from NARAL.

Yes, we should only post information, like about Obama, or John Kerry, or like Dan Rather at CBS vetted about GW’s military record.

No thanks.

Yes I do, what you don’t get is the nature of the many attacking an information deficit, as I gave you three examples, and which is the unique characteristic of Internet.

Further examples would be the work being done on Obama’s birth certificate. Early work by NY Freepers on Obama’s Columbia days, all of which was assembled from non MSM sources, hence the non posting of ‘stories’ that are, were, are not in the MSM. You can not post, title, to a MSM source, which does not exist.

What you don’t get is this new method( actually old ) that bypasses the gate keeping, filtering of the MSM.

Wild? Yes. All over the place? Yes. Disliked by the MSM? Yes.

The Internet, Twitter, blogs and even FR all ‘posting’ and then commenting on what is posted, not how it is posted.

Good. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to start with Plato’s parable of the cave, or get into what comes first, theoretical language or physical observation.

Someday you’ll come down off your high horse and realize you have no clue how to post a thread.

The T&G is owned by the Boston Globe which is (for now) owned by the NY Times which is owned by the American Communist Party.

no surprise about the reporter's political leanings
