This "confirmation" means very little. It means that the electronically generated document that 0 claims is his "birth certificate" is based on another, older and original document that the state of Hawaii has in its possession, and that the information on the new electronic form has been taken from the older document.
What is that original document? The State of Hawaii says they are not allowed to divulge. Is it a long form birth certificate filled out by the attending physician at 0bama's birth in an Oahu hospital? If so, why hasn't it been released?
Or is it something else? If it is something else then it would prove that whatever his claims, Obama was not born in an Oahu hospital with a physician or midwife in attendance, because by law they are required to complete a long form birth certificate.
It could easily be a genuine Hawaiian cetificate of Live Birth fraudulently filled out by his mother. See:
