The State Department will accept a certificate so long as it bears the registrar's signature, has a raised or colored seal, and the certificate was filed within one year of birth. Obama's COLB meets all of those requirements.

My guess is that LOTS of people have no better proof of birth of being born in Hawaii than Barry does. On the other hand, his mother probably did a lot of stuff that alienated Obama from the United States. Assuming he had a valid claim, did he succeed in establishing that claim before he turned 18?
Right. I do not count myself as a “birther,” but the issue is important, because no previous president has had such a tenuous connection with the United States. As for the DNA thing, the relationship between his mother and father was so short that it probably more no more than a marriage of convenience. She was in school in Washington State by the time he was six-weeks old...without hubby.

I am opposing him vigorously, but I am basing my opposition to our socialist-in-chief on facts, not on nonsensical conspiracy theories made up by tinfoil-hat-wearing truthers.
Furthermore, I believe wacky conspiracy theories undermine my fact-based opposition, so I have an interest debunking them.
Maybe you need to read the exhaustive reporting by Joe Farah & WND.com before acting so smug & condescending to those of us who believe that U.S. constitutional requirements for POTUS should be followed & adhered to. The point is, if it is that damn easy & simple to clear up, then why in the world won’t 0bama simply provide his long form birth certificate & clear it up. I believe the reason is simple....he has no U.S. birth certificate because the imposter was born in Kenya. His grandmother & aunt were on a video and affirmed they were at his birth in a Mombassa, Kenya hospital. There are dozens if not hundreds of articles on the subject of 0bama’s constitutional eligibility for POTUS and his murky background. I don’t log every single url for every article I read. So what is your iron clad opposition to 0bama based on, if not current articles & online articles?
